On April 7, 2026, with the support of the AAUCA leadership, a meeting was held between researchers from the National University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” and the management of Kyiv International Airport. During the meeting, issues of cooperation with international partners regarding the implementation of IT technologies and artificial intelligence for duplicating management and control systems and enhancing the safety of operational processes in aviation were discussed.
Following the meeting, relevant decisions were made that require further discussion during a video conference with interested foreign partners. Specifically, this involves the supply of necessary equipment, its installation, and the training of personnel for its operation.
We hope that this pilot project will receive support from the relevant government agencies and will be scaled up for implementation at other airports in Ukraine.
